Go By Bus is Promoting Bus Travel, and We Need Your Help!
What is the ‘Go By Bus’ campaign?
The Go By Bus campaign has been created to encourage visitors to the region to travel by bus, and to inform local residents of the opportunities and benefits of travelling by bus. The campaign, is supported by Hull City Council, Visit Hull & East Yorkshire, the Hull Enhanced Bus Partnership, and operators Stagecoach East Midlands and East Yorkshire Buses. The campaign aligns with the proposed Bus Service Improvement Plan 2024, for the Hull City Council geographic boundary and links to wider economic and social action plans across the region.
You will be aware of our regional ambition to create a more sustainable, cleaner and greener environment in which we can all live, learn, play and work. The Go By Bus campaign will highlight and champion understanding of the sustainability and health benefits of inter-regional bus travel, whilst leveraging the strength of our regional business community and promoting Hull and the Humber’s tourism compelling tourism offer.
How can you help?
We are asking all local businesses to help us spread awareness of the Go By Bus campaign, through posts on your business Facebook or LinkedIn pages. We really need your help to get the word out to like-minded businesses, residents and visitors to the region.
To make this as easy as possible, we have provided suggested post content and supporting images, so it’s as quick and easy as possible for you to support this important campaign.
Post any day of the week in September and October. All you need to do is:
- Copy and paste the wording into a Facebook or LinkedIn status
- ‘Save as’ the graphic we have provided for your chosen post, and upload this to your post before sharing
Please feel free to make the post your own with your own words, sentiments and additional pictures, as appreciate that you will be sharing this with your business networks, customer base and followers.
